NBC’s Donna at Spud Fest
Donna Clarksean is more than just “the bank lady,” although she’ll happily answer to it. As the Branch Manager of our Big Lake and Monticello locations, Donna has built her career around something that goes far beyond banking: relationships. In this episode of Local Heart, we join Donna at the 54th Annual Spud Fest, where she trades in her desk chair for a golf cart and gives us the unofficial tour.
Along the way, Donna’s genuine care for the people around her is clear. It’s a glimpse into what makes community banking so special and why Donna has become such a trusted and familiar face in Big Lake.
What Spud Fest Gives Back
Every year, Spud Fest raises nearly $500,000 for the Big Lake community, an impressive achievement for a festival powered by volunteers, folding tables, and plenty of hometown pride. Donna is right at the center of it, lining up sponsors, greeting familiar faces, and jumping in wherever she’s needed. That same dedication carries into her work, where she’s known for supporting the people and organizations that help bring the community together.
