Associate Spotlight – Tracy Allen

What’s something you’ve learned since joining NBC that has stuck with you? Working for a company that encourages career growth is a positive experience because it shows an investment in its people, not just their roles. When associates are supported through learning opportunities, clear advancement paths, and constructive feedback, they feel valued and motivated to improve.

How would you describe the culture at your branch or in your department? The Superior – Main branch I work at is a positive, fun place where teamwork and support truly stand out. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and willing to collaborate, which makes even busy days enjoyable. There’s a great balance of professionalism and laughter, creating an atmosphere where people feel comfortable, valued, and motivated. It’s the kind of environment that makes coming to work both rewarding and energizing.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and being outdoors as much as possible. Whether we’re working outside or simply enjoying nature together, those moments are especially meaningful to me.

Do you have a favorite customer interaction or story? One of the most rewarding customer experiences I’ve had was advising someone through credit counseling and watching them turn that guidance into real progress toward homeownership. By following the steps we discussed —paying down debt, improving their credit habits, and staying consistent — they were able to put themselves in a strong position to purchase a home.

What’s a small daily ritual that brings you joy? One of my favorite daily rituals is getting up early to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee and a few moments of conversation with my husband before we head off to work.
