Associate Spotlight – Robin Avery

What is a skill you did not expect to use in your job, but now rely on all the time? Thinking ahead. When I’m making changes to account types or helping with adjustments, I’ve learned how valuable it is to pause and look a few steps ahead. Anticipating potential issues before they happen saves time, reduces stress, and helps things run more smoothly for both coworkers and customers.
How do you think your coworkers would describe your work style? I believe they would say I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and efficient. I like to make sure my work is accurate and thorough, but also done in a timely manner. Being someone others can count on is really important to me, and I take pride in bringing a steady, reliable presence to the team.
If you could teleport anywhere for a weekend, where would you go and why? London, England. I would love to see Buckingham Palace, experience some of the city’s rich history, and take a tour of the Harry Potter filming sites. I’d also make time to visit the wax museum and just take in all the sights.
How do you balance productivity and self-care? I’ve found that starting my mornings at the gym sets the tone for the rest of my day. The movement helps me focus and stay energized at work. On the weekends, I recharge by spending time with my puppy and unwinding with movies or playing The Sims on the computer. It’s my way of making sure I stay balanced and refreshed.
What is something small that always lifts your mood at work? My favorite candy — M&M’s. They’re such a simple treat, but they never fail to brighten my day.
