National Bank of Commerce is proud to announce the launch of an interactive, online financial education initiative through their new partnership with the nation’s leading education technology innovator, EVERFI, Inc. Of the two programs, one is designed for basic financial education while the other is more geared towards businesses. The programs are available as a complimentary resource to help National Bank of Commerce’s community members learn how to manage their finances and plan for the future.
According to Wharton, 70% of Americans could not correctly answer three basic financial literacy questions. National Bank of Commerce is committed to empowering families, individuals and community members with the skills they need to change this trend and thrive financially.
National Bank of Commerce’s Money Matters and Business Ignite programs offer an assortment of adult financial education learning topics, with subjects including building emergency savings, mortgage education and developing a business plan. Each learning module is 3-10 minutes in length and is designed to encourage participants to build financial confidence via a series of interactive activities. The mobile and tablet-friendly programs are available in English and Spanish.
Bruce Thompson, EVP Community Bank President states “National Bank of Commerce is thrilled to introduce a new digital financial education initiative through our partnership with EVERFI.
